Woven high bulk fibreglass fibre with thick covering of iron oxide, red silicone rubber. Can shed molten metal splash and withstand intense radiant heat. Ideal for protecting hoses and cables in steel mills, aluminium smelting plants, offshore drilling rigs, foundries and glass manufacturing facilities. Protects operators and maintenance personnel against burns while insulating against costly energy losses. Applications include rubber vulcanisation operations, printing presses, injection moulding plants – anywhere hot steam or oil lines are used. Temperature Range: From +260°C continuous exposure, up to +1090°C for 15-20 minutes and up to +1640°C for 15-30 seconds
